[Lately, N can be seen at the Chaos Gate, warping in an out regularly. He appears to not be staying long in Mac Anu, and if he is, it is to simply resupply before he goes to a new area.

He hasn't been speaking to anyone as of late, and has not been forming a party as he visits areas. He certainly has plenty of Member Addresses at this point, so what could he be doing all by himself?

Nevertheless, he will not turn down anyone who wishes to join him on a trip to a field.]

[It's been a few hours since the Anguished One had noticed. And this person... was interesting to him. He waits for N to gate-out of an Area.]

[N doesn't appear to be greatly bothered by the intrusion. He smiles, in only mild curiosity.]

If that's the answer you would like to know, then it is not something that can be explained in words. Even I am not quite sure what "manner of man" I am, as such a thing has never been relevant to me.

[returning from one of her own outings into a dungeon, and a little bit richer in the item department, there is a soft patting of bare feet on the ground of the Chaos Gate room. no one seems to pay it too much mind.

after all, people are always coming and going from the city to the fields and dungeons.

but Amaterasu pauses in her movements, nearly ready to begin her walk to Mac Anu. there was a familiar smell nearby - one that seems to always ellude her nose at the times when she wants to find the person most. and with a tilt of her head and slight turn of her body, Amaterasu's gaze falls onto N's form.]

[go figure he was only a few feet away from her.]

[N turns at someone addressing him, the voice and face unfamiliar.]

Were you looking for me?

Eeh? [ears. twitch.] Of course I was.

[it doesn't even seem to cross her mind that this is the first time she's actually interacted with him in this form.]

I hadn't seen or heard from you in awhile that I was beginning to get worried.

[N had seen some Lei Tribe npcs already! They were all rather disappointingly human. He notes the markings, however.]

[N gets a little too close, despite not looking like he's trying to be threatening.]

What are you doing lately?

[ she doesn't notice the too close actually, not like she really understands social norms herself. ]

Uwa, it's N! I remembered~ [ she seems proud of herself for that...and she is. this time she doesn't have a convenient stone tablet to remind her. ]

Have you been exploring at all?

[Taiyou's been hanging around the Chaos Gate lately, so he's witnessed N's comings and goings; and always wondered why N was going about alone. Finally, he decides to step towards the stranger and get the answer straight from the horse's mouth.]

Why are you exploring The World by yourself?

[N's a bit surprised by someone addressing him, but he doesn't look offended in any way.]

I just like to explore. I enjoy getting to see new things.

That sort of thing didn't come to mind.

[ there's a god in the area that's taken interest. never having seen chaos gates before, he's been watching the coming and going of people with a curious eye. though most people look more or less the same to him, regardless of features, there's one that's caught his eye, and it has nothing to do with how the person looks, and everything to do with the fact that he's seen this person go in and out of the gate enough to differentiate him from the rest.

it's why he descends at this point in time. he'll just. appear before you, floating in mid-air. have a look. ]

[Well! That's certainly surprising. It doesn't catch N too off guard, as he goes right back into his usual interested smile.]

I'm exploring. I'm becoming familiar with all sorts of areas and their variations, for the sake of understanding a bit better. The ecosystems all seem randomly generated, but there is quite an aspect of life to them regardless.

Is that so? And just what is there to understand?

In a more literal sense, I'm coming to understand the formula for the area keywords, and how they combine in certain ways to create the conditions for the fields. It is also simply my curiosity, in exploring these areas and seeing what's in them.
