| [ A message goes out to every Relic at noon, a succinct invitation directly from CCorp. Any replies to the message will bounce back, but there may be a GM around to grill for questions if you're lucky! ]Good afternoon, Players!
We would like to extend a formal thank you to everyone who has participated in the closed beta for The World. A festival will be prepared down the bridge to the Chaos Gate and you're all encouraged to attend. All information we required was gathered from your testing, and we only hope that you thoroughly enjoyed your sneak peek of The World. We hope that our project will bring a new depth to the world of gaming with our innovative and immersive technology, and again, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Closed beta is coming to an end, and you will have 24 hours to say your goodbyes and exit through the Chaos Gate. Simply choose the blank Area Word for all three columns and you will be returned to your homes.
Sincerest regards, and to new adventures! - CCorp Project Team [ True to word, there are booths set up all down either side of the bridge with a number of foods, games, drinks, and souvenirs to be taken freely. The Chaos Gate can still be used regularly for a final farewell dungeon dive in The World, or perhaps enjoy the serene landscapes before returning to your own when. Mingle away! ] |

| Phantom thieves... Honestly. [he laughs quietly to himself] Must be how Inspector Vergier and Charlie feel when...
[Raphael's hanging out in Lumina Cloth, the lights and setting... Not really reminding him of home but he prefers the bustle of this Root Town to the sedate pace of Mac Anu. He didn't get very far with the last quest and when he'd tried to enter on his own it had been more of a disaster than his first attempt to break into the Louvre. Good thing he was an expert in making quick getaways from sticky situations.
Maybe it would have been easier if Fondue was here to offer backup]
...
[a quick shake of his head - whoa, now was not the time for reminiscing! - before he finds himself a clear corner of the plaza and starts putting together a short dance number to whatever rhythm is playing in his head. Wouldn't want to get out of practice now, would we? Maybe if he focused on something else until his mood improved...] |

| A ) @Lumina Cloth
[Around the town Ryusei is frantically running around, stopping random people and asking them questions. Sometimes he walks away angrily if they didn't know the answer and if they did, he would ask more until he was satisfied. Why is he so angry?]
B) Over the network
Text
Does anyone know any location where they've experienced some kind of anomaly or interference? If you do, please contact me ASAP.
C) @ Roaring Doomed Blue Cloud
[Ryusei charged straight into the dungeon, a look of ferocity and determination etched all over his face. He barely has any supplies with him, no healing spells, no fairy orb to map his way inside. He's going in half-cocked and full force. By the time anyone catches up with him, he's about to face a big group of enemies. Some of them can heal and cast spells while the others fight face-to-face. Ryusei grunts and then pulls out a black object from his relic and straps it to his waist.]
Don't get in my way!
[Within a matter of seconds, Ryusei is bathed in a blue light and suddenly he is covered head to toe in black and blue armor. Some may recognize the figure as Meteor, a masked man hwo fights off PKers.]
Your fates...are mine to decide!
[Ryusei charged off into battle. What is his objective? Why did he disregard his identity? Perhaps if you aid him, you'll find out.] |

| [Shockingly enough, Shinon is not in a dungeon or field for once! Rather, she's sitting for a break in the Warp Gate room in Mac Anu, her beloved Hécate II propped up beside her. She's also... incredibly zoned out. To the point where she probably won't notice other characters unless they actually come up to her and call out to get her attention. By the looks of it, she's fairly worn out despite it only being the afternoon.
The people most close to her (particularly guildmates) are free to note that not only has she not been around the @Home much lately, but she also seems to have lost a level somehow.
Somebody's been pushing herself a tad too much as of late...] |

| ( action ¤ field ) [ If you're out and about on the fields today, it's quite plausible that you'll encounter both Kirito and Celica partying up and level grinding together. While they do look like they're doing pretty well, on closer inspection it should be rather obvious that they were both new to the game. Regardless, nearing the end of the day, their movements should be a little smoother than before -- that is, if fatigue hadn't taken them yet.
In any case, they do spend most of their day leveling -- however, that isn't to say they won't be taking any breaks. Every so often they can be found by the river resting up. Catch them sometime in the evening, and you may even find Kirito dozing off. ]( Joint post with elucidator! Order will go you → Kirito → Celica. Feel free to catch them when they're on their multitudes of breaks, or when they're defeating mobs to give them advice or to join up. ) |

| [Mac Anu]
[First, he takes an admittedly strong and perfectly formed roundhouse to the head. Like that wasn't bad enough. Then, the next thing he knows, he's in this completely unfamiliar place that looked a lot more friendly than Japan (or what was left of it), with new clothes and the only things linking him from his current state of mind and the memories he wished he remembered, gone.
If that wasn't enough to piss him off, it would be a godsend.
Of course, he was pissed. And it shows as he wanders around the place, completely confused despite getting some idea of what was going on. Didn't change how confused he was, or the fact that two plus two equaled seventeen right now. Yeah, he's a little slow on the uptake sometimes. But he's an honest guy. Especially when he vents his frustrations in the middle of public like it was nobody's business.
Like right now. At the top of his lungs.] Ugh... What a giant load of crap!

| [Action for Mac Anu]
[Hugging his grimoire to his chest, Clive wanders aimlessly about the unfamiliar city, taking in all the sights. Although he is rather overwhelmed by the unexpected change in location (and attire), he has to admit that this is a very beautiful city. He's never seen anything like it in his entire life.]
It beats being stuck in a prison cell, at least...
[He lets out a sigh and looks around for a bench to sit on; carrying this giant book around gets tiring really quickly. Once he's seated, he sets his grimoire down beside him and digs out a strange device from his pouch. Whatever it's supposed to be, he's rather impressed with the sleek design. Clive spends a few minutes just examining the object before he presses his index finger on the "Touch me!" message on the screen. To his surprise, the screen actually changes to show some sort of menu. It seems that touching the corresponding icons also takes him to different screens.]
What a fascinating little piece of technology. I never would have even imagined that it was possible to build such a device.
[Until he figures out what he should do next, Clive is perfectly content with just sitting here and messing around with the Relic. Touch screen technology hasn't been invented yet in his world, so he'll be entertained by it for quite a while. Anyone is free to bother him, of course.]
[Text]
[Once he discovers the public board feature, he decides to post a very simple message, which... actually takes him some time to type out because what are touch screen keyboards.]
Could someone explain to me what's going on here? |
|
| [Meta Knight idles by the Chaos Gate in Lumina's Cloth, eyes darting around hoping to find anyone he might know.
Unfortunately, Dream Land habits are hard to break from and he easily grows bored. He pulls out his Relic and randomly selects from the three keyword columns.]
Today is... "Halberd Failing Ocean"..
[It takes him a moment for that to sink in.]
Accursed...!
[He manages to stop himself from throwing his Relic on the floor. Come on Metty, you're over that incident already. He tries to straighten himself out, looking around to see if anyone witnessed that.]
That would not be a very good area. |
|
| [in Lumina Cloth]
[a spiky haired Flick Reaper is wandering around Lumina Cloth, slipping in and out of the audience in the stadium. He keeps going back to his Relic]
Dammit-- Where the hell did you go?
[it sounds like he's found some semblance of mental stability though. He doesn't have that slasher smile on his face, for one, and Prometheus isn't yelling at everyone. To anyone who's never interacted with him, Prometheus seemed almost like any other player!]
... [there's a frustrated groan as he mutters to himself ('I hate doing this') with a hand over his face. Looking up again, he walks towards a random stranger before asking]
Have you seen my sister around? Quiet, green hair, red eyes, the same tattoo on her forehead as me. |
|
| [Stop by Δ Choosing Unlimited Hand Song today and you may find someone sprawled out on one of the bridges, wearing a pendant or medallion of some sort.
S/he? looks lost, but not in the sense that she doesn't know where she is, but more that this is something she'd been missing for quite some time, and is busy remembering the events of another history.
Too busy, perhaps, to notice a wayward monster? Or are you just curious?] |
