[ nodding, satisfied, he peers down the pathway in the cavern. ] If I remember correctly, it should be this way. Shall we go on?

No, it's-- [ aaaand as he says this, there's a growl coming from in front of them, around the bend. aphrodi's eyes widen, before his captain instincts kick in. ] Against the wall. Right now.

Just what--- [He doesn't get much time to speak, not when whatever they just heard? Decided to come looking for them.] Look out!
