[Lately, N can be seen at the Chaos Gate, warping in an out regularly. He appears to not be staying long in Mac Anu, and if he is, it is to simply resupply before he goes to a new area.

He hasn't been speaking to anyone as of late, and has not been forming a party as he visits areas. He certainly has plenty of Member Addresses at this point, so what could he be doing all by himself?

Nevertheless, he will not turn down anyone who wishes to join him on a trip to a field.]

[ there's a god in the area that's taken interest. never having seen chaos gates before, he's been watching the coming and going of people with a curious eye. though most people look more or less the same to him, regardless of features, there's one that's caught his eye, and it has nothing to do with how the person looks, and everything to do with the fact that he's seen this person go in and out of the gate enough to differentiate him from the rest.

[Well! That's certainly surprising. It doesn't catch N too off guard, as he goes right back into his usual interested smile.]

I'm exploring. I'm becoming familiar with all sorts of areas and their variations, for the sake of understanding a bit better. The ecosystems all seem randomly generated, but there is quite an aspect of life to them regardless.

Is that so? And just what is there to understand?

In a more literal sense, I'm coming to understand the formula for the area keywords, and how they combine in certain ways to create the conditions for the fields. It is also simply my curiosity, in exploring these areas and seeing what's in them.

And what shall you do once you've become acquainted with what's within those fields? Will you kill them?

Unless I have to, to defend myself. I do not like to seek battles.

[He'll use them as necessary, but he derives no pleasure from it. Not even the satisfaction of getting stronger.]

Then, will you enslave them?

No! I would never do something like that.

If I could, I would want to befriend them. To hear their voices, and know what it is they are thinking and feeling.

Ah, you hope to commune with monsters? How very monstrous.

Still, though, I find it a little funny that you would be so against that. After all, isn't that what humans do? What they can't enslave, they destroy. What they can't destroy, they enslave.

I was born from Pokémon.

[It's a confession he rarely puts forth, since most people scoff and dismiss it. And though he had hoped to get over some of these ideas of his, they were habits and beliefs not yet broken.]

I can hear their voices because I was born from them. I exist to be their voice, and to protect them. I'm not like anyone else, who is deaf to other living creatures. I can hear them. I am perfect.

[Huh. That doesn't seem to surprise nor confuse N, but it does pique his interest.]

I was of the impression that Amaterasu was the Goddess of the Sun.

Amaterasu is... also the sun. [ he can say it, so it's the undeniable truth. ] But it doesn't change the fact that I'm still the sun. Amaterasu being the sun or not does not have any bearing on what I am.

...Fascinating. Do you have a name for yourself, as Amaterasu does?

And I do think I will speak with you again. The difference you sport from others is interesting, at the very least.

Is there a reason that it's impossible?

[N is unwavering! He befriended a dragon Pokemon that embodied the whole concept of "Ideals". He doesn't see the problem, exactly.]
