[There is someone in the Alchemy district fiddling with his Relic. If you're sneaky enough to look over his shoulder, he's writing something on the notepad function. Something about shiny walls that teleport you to a weird area, the Omega server, and Christmas. It might entirely be fiction, but then Takeshi talks to himself out loud:]

And that's when I blank out... I remember a Christmas event, and then I wake up here with at least half of my previous levels. And there's no way to contact Zero or Amaterasu or Yuuta, unless I try to party invite them, but there are entries missing in my contact list... [a sigh.] No sign of Spin, either.

[Dogs do get curious too, you know! Anyone is free to bother him, and ask him what this is all about.]

Oh, the Relic?

[He smiles and holds it up.] I was writing notes. There's a lot of stuff you can do with the Relic! It's not just where you store your inventory and money.

You're new to The World?

[his eyes widen momentarily. Oh, was that where his weapons and rupees have gone? he does miss being able to shoot things down with the bow and arrows...]

... [and Link nods at the question. New here, and a bit at a loss for what to do with this strange device--]

Huh? Me? No way! [he laughs.] I've just been here a while, so I guess I know my way around.

[a brief sigh as he smiles. Well, at least the cheer was welcomed. Link points to the Relic again though]

So what else can you do? [there's a quiet "I'm completely unfamiliar with this strange device" hanging in the air, but it seems that Link likes to use words sparingly unlike Kuu's other character]

With the Relic? Lessee...

You can add contacts to it, so that when you need help in clearing a level, you can add them to your party and stuff. I already told you that it's where your items go, too... And you can write notes on it as well! That's pretty much it.

[while the Macabre Dancer explains, Link just stares intently at the Relic. What a strange device...

Well, at least he knew that Hyrule was safe from Ganondorf]

Teamwork is rewarded then. [there's an amused tone in that comment. It sounds more pleasant than having to do everything yourself, at least--

Link's attention shifts suddenly] Do you know how to leave town? [because he's just figured out how to warp around town not how to leave it]

Yeah! Teamwork is the best here. You can always go solo, but that's not as fun as going in a group! [he's smiling because he's being helpful!]

Leave town, like go to another area? That's pretty easy. Just head to the Chaos Gate and pick three words from the list that comes out.

[he nods at the explanation]

Chaos Gate...? [a pause] You mean that strange device in the room we woke up in?

[just to make sure, because the Mirror of Twilight is really the only path through alternate realms]

Too bad it's not the way out of The World, too.

How strange... Towns usually have gates. [he murmurs quietly... Oh!]

Thank you. [he nods. There's a sheepish pause before he adds on;] That was really helpful.

The Chaos Gate is kind of like that? They're not gigantic doors that lead you straight out, but the principle is the same, haha!

[he stares a moment, puzzled, before smiling at Takeshi. Time to expand his dictionary.... Link supposes]

Link. [he nods his head in a 'how do you do' gesture]

... One last question. [he looks so awkward asking] How do you add contacts? [/medieval]

Oh, that's pretty easy! [he raises his Relic again.] You just hold your Relic up close to the person whose member address you want to add.

[he looks at the Relic in his hand, then at the one Takeshi is holding up. Well, it never hurts to try...

Don't mind Link confused/startled look at the beeps and lights the Relic is emitting. It's his first time]
