How peculiar. There should be some way to exit. [ Playing around the relic, going through the menu, etc. etc. etc. She knows very well what all of this looks like, but doesn't particularly have any experience with... games. ]

I wonder who has summoned me to this place... Certainly, it must be for a great cause. [ Entertaining the thought, it would explain very well why she is here ad unable to leave. She'll nod to herself now. Go ahead and notice how elegant she may look, overhear her words, or make fun of her short stature. Nevertheless, she is there standing and may or may not look over on whim. ]

At the very least, you're up-front about it, saying it with such a serious face.

Of course. I don't see a reason why I should deceive anyone and, furthermore, it isn't something respectable to say the least.

I wouldn't say it has anything to do with deception. Really, perhaps it has more to do with being shameless.

[ then again, from his perspective, anyone who speaks to him without bowing their head is shameless. you can say he has a very limited perspective. ] Going back to what we were speaking about before, I was merely wondering why you would think that there's a reason in the first place.

I do not exactly see how "cracking a joke" would be exactly shameless. Perhaps unorthodox given the situation... [ Strange man. She would never bow her head for anyone just because, okok. It is not very king-like. ]

My instincts are telling me there must be a reason as to why I am summoned here. Unfortunately, that is all I have to rely on despite how it's not much.

Not necessarily rely on it, but I do believe in my intuition. [ Her intuition has taken her to many places, sir.

It has brought her to conquering many battles and estimating how far Shirou's obstinate actions may sail. Whether she is successful is up to her, obviously. ]

I wouldn't say 'unfamiliar'. 'Uncomprehending', perhaps. But I suppose that's a hard thing to explain to a being that can see possibilities where there is only the absolute.

[ shrug, man. ] Out of curiosity, what do your instincts say about death?

It's a bit difficult to say when I'm not being provoked. Either way, my instincts have saved me from fatal blows many times on the battlefield.

So, there are even humans whose instincts to survive haven't been paralyzed by intelligence.
