[another day in Mac Anu, though the sun seems to be...a bit more vibrant and bright. for some reason. who knows.

but for those roaming about, you may come across posters on various walls of the city, through all the districts, and maybe even tacked to a couple shop doors. it's an advertisement for a new guild; each drawn by hand.

you see: it had taken a bit of time, but Amaterasu had finally gotten about to creating her own guild in The World. and now she plans on getting the word about it to everyone who may be looking for a guild - or, even those in one, a secondary place for them to come to if they would so desire. the treasury is stocked full of various items gathered from her adventures. it was all set up.

now to recruit!

scenario a. it doesn't really matter where you may be, whether it's outside the warp gate area, the main fountain area of Mac Anu, or one of the other districts of the city. Amaterasu is there with a pleasant smile on her face, looking quite pleased and happy. did you happen to see the posters about the city?

are you interested in joining the guild? or maybe you just want to make some small talk. well, whichever. she'll be happy.

scenario b. on the bridge the connects the Chaos Gate to the Town Square, there is a grunty sitting on the rail and just relaxing. occasionally reaching to the bag at its side and pulling out a meat bun to partake in the joys that is eating.

this dog ears, red marked little grunty really should be doing some advertisement for the guild and getting people to join. but. eh, that can come later. it's quite happy enough to just sit there and enjoy the view.]

Sun Grunty can tell but it...doesn't seem to really register. no, not at all; the little thing is too busy eating its snacks and watching sparkles on the water.]

This is more fun than recruiting. wan wan.

Recruiting for what exactly?

The guild. wan wan.

What else is there to be recruiting for? wan wan.

[He shrugs] Party groups.

Why would a guild grunty be recruiting for a party? wan wan. We don't have to level up like you do. wan wan.

[it pats the spot on the rail next to it]

There's enough room for two up here. wan wan.

[He's all whatever, it reminds him of home. Even the grunty's cuteness and the laziness is very... Dream Land. Meta Knight swiftly jumps and sits on the rail next to the guild grunty]

What sort of guild are you recruiting for then?

[the grunty is quiet for a bit. it almost looks a bit contemplative, as it sits there, eyes closed as it holds a bun in its ~~hands~~ hoo...ves..., staring out at the sparkling water and ever present glow of the sunset.]

A general sort of guild. wan wan. The leader has been wanting to make one for some time now, you see. wan wan. She wants to help out everyone here in the The World. wan wan.

That is a very noble cause.

[Sun Grunty seems to be considering something it had said; there is a soft mutter of "Maybe that should have been New and old players, alike. wan wan.'?" before regarding him.]

If you think so, you should join. wan wan.

[......that's very subtle of you, Sun Grunty.]

[Yeah, this grunty definitely is like something from Dream Land. He smiles from the familiarity, of a memory from a long time ago.]

[here, Meta, there is a meat bun being held out in your general direction. the grunty seems to be in a giving mood today with its food!]

That's good to hear. wan wan.

[He blinks before taking it.]

...Thank you.

[This is awkwardly silent.]

[a one-sided awkwardness, then! Sun Grunty seems perfectly content with the following silence. just sitting there and enjoying the moment; the town's music, the sunset, the background noise of people.

so the grunty just ... sits there. which is why it takes a moment (which, in reality, is a number of minutes) to finally speak:]

What's your name, by the way? wan wan.

I see... Are there others like you?

There are plenty of other grunties. wan wan.

[a pause - taking just a short moment to think (maybe - or it possibly could have just zoned out).]

Not too many of us guild grunties around right now, though. wan wan.

So a guild grunty is born when a new guild is formed?
