[another day in Mac Anu, though the sun seems to be...a bit more vibrant and bright. for some reason. who knows.

but for those roaming about, you may come across posters on various walls of the city, through all the districts, and maybe even tacked to a couple shop doors. it's an advertisement for a new guild; each drawn by hand.

you see: it had taken a bit of time, but Amaterasu had finally gotten about to creating her own guild in The World. and now she plans on getting the word about it to everyone who may be looking for a guild - or, even those in one, a secondary place for them to come to if they would so desire. the treasury is stocked full of various items gathered from her adventures. it was all set up.

now to recruit!

scenario a. it doesn't really matter where you may be, whether it's outside the warp gate area, the main fountain area of Mac Anu, or one of the other districts of the city. Amaterasu is there with a pleasant smile on her face, looking quite pleased and happy. did you happen to see the posters about the city?

are you interested in joining the guild? or maybe you just want to make some small talk. well, whichever. she'll be happy.

scenario b. on the bridge the connects the Chaos Gate to the Town Square, there is a grunty sitting on the rail and just relaxing. occasionally reaching to the bag at its side and pulling out a meat bun to partake in the joys that is eating.

this dog ears, red marked little grunty really should be doing some advertisement for the guild and getting people to join. but. eh, that can come later. it's quite happy enough to just sit there and enjoy the view.]

What is a "grunty"?

Pig-type of animal exclusive to this world. wan wan.

[the Sun Grunty will finish off the rest of the meat bun it's holding.]

Pets, mascots for guilds - that is what we are. wan wan.

[picking up another bun, it gets held out to him.]

Would you like one? wan wan.

Ah, um, thank you. [He takes the meat bun and takes a bite.](Hey, this isn't half bad.)

[He was still kinda awkward with the creature before him, but at least it seems like he's slowly warming up to it.]

You said guild. Are you out here for doing guild activities or something?

Something like that. wan wan.

[no, it's not something like that, Sun Grunty. that is what it's supposed to be doing!]

The leader asked for me to help her recruit for the guild. wan wan. There are posters put up all around town about it. wan wan.

Poster? [Oh look, there's a poster under Sun Grunty's bag. How convenient. Ryusei lifts the bag and takes the poster.]

You mean this? [He reads earnestly as he eats the bun in his hand. He chuckles when he sees the name "Amaterasu"]

Someone named themselves after the goddess?

Yes, that's what I meant. wan wan.

[and Sun Grunty is back to eat its own meat bun. kind of just. shoving a whole one. in its mouth.

such great manners.]

It would be nice to be named after a goddess. wan wan. But, I think the leader the real one? wan wan.

[it doesn't sound too sure :|]

(A goddess as a guild leader? Suuuure.)

[He's heard some strange things before, but an all mighty goddess running a guild? He's not likely to believe that.]

And what would happen if this "goddess" found out that you're just sitting here eating meat buns?[He takes another bite from his meat bun. He hasn't finished it yet.]

[good question. she has no clue; maybe...]

Headbutt me into the river? wan wan.

[or she may...]

Get a little upset that I didn't invite her to eat too? wan wan.

[BUT THERE'S ALWAYS THE CHANCE THAT SHE'LL...]

Join me and eat the meat buns with me? wan wan.

All but one revolves around food....[He sighs then studies the poster.] Tell me, how many members do you have now?

Eating is important to one's diet, you know. wan wan.

how many members? oh. don't ask Sun Grunty that.]

Two? wan wan. Or maybe it's just the leader, right now. wan wan. I haven't really been paying much attention. wan wan

[He finishes the rest of his meat bun.]

You're.......[sigh]... unbelievable.

[He pats the grunty's head and gets up.]

Hey, where is your guild leader at and what does she look like?

[Sun Grunty appreciates the pat! enough that it may have made a very content oink that sounded only like it's speaking quirk. ~~how does that work~~]

She's all over town. wan wan.

[and as it speaks it's drawing -- wait, where in The World did that pen and pad of paper come from?! what the heck Sun Grunty.]

She looks like this. wan wan.

[and it holds up its finished masterpiece.]

[He takes the drawing and examines it. No matter how he looks, it always just looks like a child's doodle ti him.]

(Well, I suppose this is enough.)

[He bids farewell to the grunty and heads towards the town square. As he approaches, he starts looking around for someone who matches the picture.....more or less.]

[it would have been easier if the grunty just told him to look for someone that resembles it...but, hey, technicalities and all of that.

he'll find Amaterasu in the town square, a few of the posters cradled in her arm as she taps her way through the relic. checking a few things - mainly some of the items that she had just acquired through trading with some other players (got to get that treasury filled up with things for everyone, after all).]

[It sort of looks like her. He stares at the picture and at the person before him. There's no one else who resembles the "picture", though he's still unsure if what the grunty gave him was reliable. Well, only one way to be sure.]

Excuse me, are you by any chance Amaterasu....-sama?

That would be me.

[it's been awhile since someone had addressed her like that. she raises a hand and gives a dismissive wave.]

But you can just call me Amaterasu. There is no need for honorifics.

Ah, okay. [He gives a small bow along with a smile]

(She certainly seems very "goddess" like. I still very much doubt that she's the genuine article. Hmph, I think that thing was just exaggerating.)

Um, well, how do I say this? You're...mascot grunty, is lazing around on the bridge eating meat buns.[He smiles sheepishly and chuckles]

But aside from that, I'm interested in joining your guild, if you don't mind.

[there's a pause.

a very

long pause in which she turns her attention towards the area of the Chaos Gate room. attention focusing on bridge that leads to it.

she doesn't seem all that surprised, by what he says.]

Aah... It seems that it is more like me than I had thought it would be.

[but what's this - he says he wants to join the guild?]

I do not mind at all.

[Amaterasu flashes a smile - bright and brilliant, warm ~~just like the sun - as she brings out her relic.]~~

If you would do the same, I will send you the invitation.

Yeah!

[He takes out his relic and smiles.]

[aaaand invitation sent!

if he so chooses to check his inventory, he'll find that he now is the proud owner of a member card for the @Home.]

Mm, there! All finished. [super excited tail wags get] Welcome to the guild.

[A guild, a place to stay. He could use that, actually, he needed that. Sleeping on the streets isn't exactly a very exciting idea. On top of that, this person doesn't look like the type to bark out orders or bizzarre activities on a whim, unlike someone he knows.

He checks his inventory and notices the appearance of the member card. He smiles and bows politely.]

Thank you! I'm in your care!
