02 Wandering Meteor (Hidden Eternity's Two Wings)

[If you went to "Hidden Eternity's Two Wings", you'd be greeted by a beautiful sunset and grasslands bathed in golden light. The water looks like melted gold as it reflects the light, the rhythmic sounds of the waves as they crash on the shore, and the warm breeze embracing you. If you close your eyes and listen, you would hear the sounds of combat in the distance. Upon further investigation, you would find Ryusei fighting a group of goblins by himself. He seems to have taken some damage, but his foes aren't fairing too well either.

Will you help him, or watch and see how things unfold?]

[ She's going to help, of course! Minako casts a quick low level healing spell, followed by a spell that lowers the defense of the goblins before rushing in to join him in the attack with her twin fans. ]

[minetodecide]

[Ryusei's attention was divided for a second when his HP suddenly went up, even more so when a stranger came to help him. He thought he was alone in the area.)

(Who's this?)

[He shakes his head and focuses on the enemies before him.] Wooooo~ HIYA![Ryusei rushes for the closest pair of enemies and attacks with a right hook across the face to the first then attacks the next with roundhouse kick.]

I don't know who you are, but thanks.

[inhearts]

You're welcome!

[ Grinning, she follows up by slashing down at one of the heavily wounded goblins. ]

[With a quick kick to the face, one more goblins bites the dust while the last one runs away.] Hmph!(Cowards.)[Ryusei wipes his hands together.] I'm more than a match for those guys, but still, thanks again. I'm Ryusei, and you?

[inhearts]

[ Snapping her fans shut with ease of habit, she turns to look at Ryusei with a smile. ]

I'm Arisato Minako, a Macabre Dancer. [ To explain why she could toss a healing spell out anyway. ] It's nice to meet you, Ryusei-san!

[minetodecide]

Yeah, same to you. [Ryusei looks to where the last goblin ran off to.] Well, I'm going to chase down the one that escaped, do you want to come along?

[inhearts]

Let's party up and do it!

[ She takes her relic out, holding it up. ]

[minetodecide]

Heh![He takes out his relic and holds it next to hers. A beep to confirm the exchange of addresses.] You certainly are full of spirit, it sort of reminds me of someone.

[inhearts]

Oh? [ Curious! ] A friend?

[ Wondering if Ryusei will send a party invite or should she... ]

[minetodecide]

Yeah. He was always going on about "making friends with everyone in school" or "the whole galaxy". He's pretty unique that way. But I digress.[He looked at his relic and sent the party invite.] Alright, sent. Now, where did that goblin run off to?

[To be honest, she hardly even noticed the scenery. And once she heard that combat noise, well...

Put plainly, Ryusei may notice one of the goblins seems to be taking damage from a distance. Looks like there's a Steam Gunner helping out/possibly kill stealing, it's kind of hard to tell.]

[Who wouldn't notice a goblin suddenly taking damage. It surprised him but he welcomed it.](I'll find out who it is after I've taken care of these guys.)[He goes into his combat stance and attacks the closest goblin with a open palm strike to the chest then a roundhouse kick to the second.]

[After getting shot so many times, one of the goblins eventually peels away from the group to go after the Steam Gunner. But by then, it's too late.

Not even reacting with a fraction of surprise, she merely backs up and continues to calmly shoot at it until its health is low enough, finishing the monster off with her only special: Thorn Shot. While she doesn't have nearly the same range she's used to, she can still take care of monsters easily enough so long as she can maintain a distance.

Which is why she will begin shooting at another goblin still hanging around Ryusei.]

[Ok, he thought that it was back up at first but now he knows someone is moving in on his prey.]

(As if I'll let you!)

[Ryusei puts away the gauntlets and pulls out his scythe. He twirls it above his head and quickly brings the blade down on the goblin with the lowest health. Another comes from behind him with it's sword raised but Ryusei shoves him away by striking it with the other end of the scythe, then uses "Wicked Strike" to finish it off.]

[...Well, so much for those experience points. But whatever, the guy made it out alive, and she did get at least some EXP for the one she managed to kill.

Don't mind her just... starting to walk away. Talk about rude!]

[minetodecide]

[After dispatching the goblins, Ryusei scans the scenery trying to find the mysterious shooter.]

Where are you?

[He spots someone in the distance brandishing a gun and walking away.]

Hold it!

[ He places his under his arm, the blade hovering a few inches from the ground with the blade and gives chase. He eventually catches up, given that's she's only walking away]

I have to say, that was the weirdest form of "help" I've ever seen.[A pause]Though I still owe you thanks, so thank you.

[She gives a small sigh as she turns to look at the guy. It seems she can't simply do her bit and walk away after all.]

I thought you might be another PC, so I attacked too... But I stole your kills in the process. Most people wouldn't thank a KSer.

...But I'm not going to apologize for getting the EXP, either.

Don't worry about that, though I will admit was a bit angry at first but...[Ryusei stares at Shinon]...I saw how you used that gun. Your shots were accurate, and you didn't hesitate to attack even when those small fries had me surrounded.(Having someone like that around would benefit me in the long run.)I'm Sakuta Ryusei, and you are?

[Her eyes narrow slightly at the staring. It's not a comfortable feeling, having someone looking at you like that. Still, he... probably doesn't mean any harm by it.

And if he did, well. There was always PvP.]

...I'm Shinon.

[Nope, no harmful intentions. It's Ryusei's way of saying hello! Well ok, maybe not really hello, but at he recognizes Shinon's skill.]

Well then, Shinon-san. Do you want to help me take out guys?[Ryusei gestures to the remaining goblins in the area.] They may not be much, but at least they'd provide some level of entertainment.

[Taiyou's pretty far away when he sees Ryusei in the distance, and while he can't see how much damage he's taken he's pretty clearly outnumbered. Taiyou runs on over to help, but he's so far the battle will probably be over before he gets there.]

[And he'd be right. The battle was over. Three goblins attacked, three goblins dead, not a very big deal for him. Ryusei had taken some damage but nothing too severe though, he had forgotten to bring a health potion.]

Hmm..

(This much damage shouldn't be a problem, though I have to be more careful now. The enemy may be weak but there's going to be a lot of them, I'm sure.)

[Fortunately the one rushing to his aid is a Harvest Cleric! Once he reaches a close enough distance, Taiyou speaks out the word and Ryusei's HP bar is now much less red! Or black. Or blue. What color scheme is used in this game?

Okay never mind let's just say it's more green.]

That was impressive.

[His health suddenly rising had surprised him, and when Taiyou spoke it had alarmed him. Ryusei spun around, his hand clenched into a fist and about to strike until he saw the person before him was human, and further more looks like cleric.]

(He must have been the one to heal me.)

Sorry, did I startle you?

[Fortunate for Taiyou to not have been punched then! Though he probably could've gone ahead and healed himself too if he was. Ryusei gets an apologetic peace sign and a grin from the younger boy.]

Nn, [He shakes his head.] actually it seems more like I startled you? I saw you in the distance, you fight good~
