1ST WINDY THING

[ John stammered back. An almost lightness to his step. The flick reaper armor was much too big for him and he looked displaced and awkward in it. He was trying to sort things out. John moved in animated and almost cartoon like motions as he paced (he wished he could float) nervously. His steps a little too wide, his arms swinging a little too widely. Think John, think. ]

[ He does a quart turn. A fist turned side wards slammed into an open palm when he figures it out. ]

I'm in the wrong video game!

[ BRB FREAKING OUT. ]

Wait. Have you been here long?

[ thankfully, these references are flying right over his head-- ]

Oh, no, not at all. In fact, it's only been two days or so since I've arrived.

I guess you're not very high on the Echeladder then?

[ unfortunately, this she is a he-- ]

I'll decide that-- once you explain what an Echeladder is. [ but he looks kind of interested-- ] Mind a bit of an explanation?

[ WELL JOHN DOESN'T KNOW THAT. L M A O. That face is misleading. ]

- It's sort of like rankings! They measure you're progression. Oh gosh. I just got all the levels too. I guess that means I'm starting over.

[ THAT HAIR TOO s-sobbing-- ]

It's too bad you didn't get a chance to save that game before you left. But this game looks fairly fun, too-- I did a little exploring, and the world seems endless.

I - I guess? That's a bit different from my old game. Each player had their own planet and then there was Derse and Prospit and it was all very plot twisty and complicated like Lady in the Water or the Village.

What was your old world like?

[resipiscence]

[ a blink. and then, he laughs a little. ]

It certainly wasn't as exciting. Actually, I'm not sure how to describe it, since it's such a normal place.

[ it's just a world where shooting soccer balls causes fire tornadoes.... yep... mundane... ] And now that I've heard a few things about yours, I feel almost embarrassed to think about how mundane it was.
