[It's very disconcerting when one moment you're talking to a figment of your imagination and then suddenly being somewhere else entirely. Jake stands there dumbly for a moment, quite confused at what just happened. He gets over it long enough to get out of the way of the whatever behind him, since there seems to be a bit of traffic here! Jeez, he's never seen so many people in one place like this before.]

[Dammit, he had been in a somewhat important discussion with the Dirk from his memory! Oh, well. First thing to do is to gather information, so he approaches the first friendly person he sees. He'll get excited about being in a new place in a little bit. Right now, it just seems like more Dream Bubble Bullshit, although he certainly doesn't remember anything at all like this occurring before.]

Excuse me, chap! Might I have a word? [He will continue on regardless of the answer. Jake is determined to get information, gosh darn it!]

I think I've gotten myself lost or something. [Jake chuckles a little sheepishly.] This place certainly doesn't look familiar to me, and it seems that my original clothes have been, erm, replaced. Is that normal around here?

The World? That's a rather bland name for a place. All joking put aside for a moment, what exactly is "the World?"

[isolates]

[Shrugs.] I'm not the one that decided to name the place. It's a game though. Kinda.

A game? ...Like Sburb?

[isolates]

Maybe? I have no idea what Sburb is though.

[hoperaider]

Well, I'm not quite sure what Sburb is, either. It's supposedly a dangerous game to play. My friends and I were about to play it, but some...hm...complications arose, I suppose.

[isolates]

But why would you play a game that's dangerous?

[hoperaider]

There are different reasons for all of us involved, but primarily it involves meeting our older relatives as youths. I'm not sure what the exact reason for the game itself to exist is. [He shrugs.] Another friend of mine separate from my group told me that our "session" of the game is to "pave the way for gods." Whatever the hell that malarkey means. Aside from which, I've never said no to an adventure!

[ the young boy sitting off to the side juggling apples will look up. catching his apples after a bit of fumbling, he smiles sheepishly-- ]

It seems like it. And it doesn't look like anyone knows where they took the clothing, either. It's all kind of suspicious, isn't it?

Well, it's certainly strange, but I'm not terribly certain it's suspicious per se. Ah, I'm Jake, by the by!

Sounds kinda complicated. [Other worlds sure are weird!]

Well, I guess that's pretty okay since you're in another game now.

Yes, it's terribly exciting once you get over the hullabaloo of what just happened! What do I need to know about this game?

Well, it's kinda normal I guess. Jsut exploring dungeons and stuff. Although once in awhile the GMs have quests for us to do.

So, would it be accurate to say that you can form parties for the dungeon exploring? And what sort of quests do these GM's task us with?

[isolates]

Yep! Parties are totally okay. As for the quests, a lot of the time it's scavenger hunt type of things.

Are there limits to the amount of people in a single party? A scavenger hunt sounds pretty exciting, though!

[Hm.]

I hope I'm not overstepping anything by bombarding you with so many questions....

No, it's fine. I know it can be confusing so I don't really mind. One time I went dungeon crawling in a party of six but I'm not really sure what the max is. Sometimes the quests have a specific number you need for your party though.

Because for some reason I only noticed this now, HI!

Yeah, it does. I don't quite understand how it works just yet but, for some reason we were taken from our original worlds...(Regardless if we were doing anything important or not!)[Ryusei closed his eyes and took a deep breath.]...and ended up here.

Well, my day has certainly been getting stranger by the minute, so I suppose this is just one more thing to add to my list.

I don't suppose anyone knows what might be happening to our world while we're stuck here? I'm assuming there's currently no feasible way out if we're still here.
