[Jane tiptoes around the gate, eyeing it like it’s about to jump out and attack her. With all her ties to her various allies (and potential murderers) cut, she’s feeling a little off-kilter. Whether this is the thing that brought her here or the thing that will get her out, she doesn’t feel like jumping into it will have any bearing on her tight-assery. After all, it’d be just ludicrous to jump headfirst into it when she doesn't know what it does.

Unless her dad’s in there.

Jane grips her cheeks (the ones on her face, geez!), groaning a little. Whatever is she meant to do now?]

Either that or Dirk's really good at faking it.] Once you get settled in we can all head out together. Later, though, I had enough of dungeons for a while.

[Either that or he's going to grind by himself and get disgruntled over the fact he's inching up the levels, not...striding.]

Alright! What sort of place are we staying in, by the way? I've only been camping once or twice and I can't say if it's something I'm good at or not...

...so far on the streets. [This isn't going to work with Jane around.] Apparently you need to join a guild to get a bed.

Oh. Well, why haven't you joined one, then?

Dunno. Thought about it a few times, but...I guess I'm a little uneasy about signing up with some strangers.

How many people do we need to make our own?

I'm pretty sure it's levels we need. We need to hit 10 before we can make our own. Might be wrong, though.

Oh no, really? And you've been having such trouble leveling!

[She sighs.]

I sure hope we can get a little more work done now that I can heal the two of you all the time.

Here's hoping. And really... [And here he catches himself before he admits one of the reasons he ain't so fussed about the hobo thing is because he's got more than a few feet to walk in.]

[She quirks a brow at him, but doesn't press.]

So. The quest for a fork begins?

Jane, I'm wondering if we'd have enough to buy one if we find one.

Well, if not, it gives me a goal to work towards, at least.

Yeah. Equipment's expensive, anyway. I've been to I don't even know how many dungeons and all I found were level one swords. [Grum- oh hey, that fabric could be used later for...hm.]

And to think, if this were reality we'd be able to build our own weapons...

[She catches his intent look at the fabric.]

What're you thinking?

Nothing much.

[Step 1: Acquire better living quarters now that Jane's here one way or another.

Step 2: Make plushies.

Step 3: Create a smuppet pit which he could push various people he knew into.
