[Roberto will tell you what he does not remember doing: changing clothes, going into a Gateway to another world, somehow obtaining new clothes and a weapon? And the device in one hand blinking a cheerful touch me up at him is not helping improve his mood any.

He’s tried circling around the Chaos Gate for some time now, staring at it, thinking that it somewhat resembles a Gateway but. He’s already tried walking closer, into it, and nothing’s happened. Does he have to find a Wanderer in this world or something? (It does not even occur to him to use the relic, of course. He is suspicious.) His eyebrows are furrowed with deep displeasure and there’s a scowl fixed on his face.

He shoves the relic in a pocket and goes about exiting the building wherein the Chaos Gate is contained. He stares at the city and the landscape before him, frowns some more, and heads toward the bridge. Either way, whether it be just outside the building, the bridge, or in the square of Mac Anu itself, you may find yourself victim to a jarring]

Hey, you! [because what are manners when you have questions.]

[Well, Roberto doesn't know who the knights of the round table are, but--] Yes. We protect the kingdom of Astrasia. My commander is the princess as well. [PROUDLY he loves his homeland and commander. Chrodechiiild where are youuu.]

--but I fought well enough without them before, and I can do the same if need be.

[greaterspeed]

Astrasia, huh? I can't say I've heard of that before, and I've been round the block a few times. [suddenly, a wide smile] So the princess in your home country knows how to fight too? That means she works with people right?? [aside;] Man, I can't wait to tell Blaze. [and then back to Roberto;] She's such a sourpuss sometimes, acts like teamwork would be the end of her. Honestly. [shakes his head]

Well...

Want me to help keep an eye out for them for ya? [big smile]

Of course she knows how to fight, and she has the respect and loyalty of our people. She's the best fighter in the Blades, [Roberto says with a good deal of pride, drawing himself up. Chrodechild is the one person he can talk about happily sob...

Well, his miffed look fades a little. And he says,] It would not be unappreciated if you would.

[greaterspeed]

No, no, I mean she knows how to fight in a team! Because the Princess I know is all about doing things on her own. Dunno, I've got a couple of friends that are like that. [he says it so fondly though... And he'd like to think of them as his friends, even if the feeling is one sided 8I ]

Sure thing! [a quick mock salute Caliburn would yell at him, surely] What should I look out for, guy?

[doggedness]

My name's 'Roberto'. Not 'guy'. [grumble but Roberto shakes his head and says,] A blond lady with green eyes--that's my princess, Chrodechild. Or a man with long brown hair in a ponytail; Meruvis.

[A pause and Roberto adds, as though reluctant:] Or a kid with short grey hair named Sieg.

[greaterspeed]

And I'm Sonic, nice to meetcha! [/doesn't miss a beat]

Hmmm.... [he counts them off on his fingers] Blond with green eyes, brown ponytail and short grey hair. [he winks and gives Roberto a thumbs up] Got it!

Y'don't sound that excited at the prospect of finding that last kid... Sieg?

[doggedness]

I'm-- [Well actually he'd like to find Sieg but he can't, you know. Say that. Tsundere always.] He can be aggravating at times.

[greaterspeed]

[there's this look on Sonic's face. The look that says he's not buying it]

All right then. I'll let him know you're worried when I see him.

[Roberto raises an eyebrow.] ...friend codes?

[Roberto shrugs slightly to himself.]

So first y'gotta take out your Relic. Then hold it out to mine...

And then it automatically registers us on each other's contact list. Then you can call me up anytime and I can call you up anytime. Y'see?

We can contact each other through these things? [Roberto tugs out the Relic in question, holding it out.]

[and with a short jingle, Sonic has now been registered on Roberto's Relic and vice versa!]

Yea, just pull up the 'contacts' page, click on my name and write a message. There should be a tutorial type thing built in.

[cheeky grin as he pulls his Relic back] Or you could always wait until I show up.

[doggedness]

[Roberto looks at the Relic after the sound, making a doubtful hmm.]

Hmpf. I guess I can use it if I have to.

[greaterspeed]

Awwww, you make it sound like you don't want me around. [his ears droop as he looks away, hand held over his heart] And here I thought we were getting along.

[then he just shrugs it off. Hahaha, letting such an easy tsun line get to him? Nawww]

[BAH. Bah, Roberto says!! He turns to go with a jerky wave of his own, half-grumbling out,]
