[Disorientated from just waking up, a mask wearing Blade Brandier sits up and puts a hand to his head, but immediately withdraws. Hair? Fingers?! He stares at his hand in awe, distracting him from his surroundings]

What in Nova's name...

[Hopefully he's not too distracted, because there's something shifting under him. A person, to be in fact. A sleeping person, who shifts once more before opening his eyes. He blinks a little blearily before focusing on the man sitting on him.

Oh. Well. Okay, so there's someone sitting on him. He wasn't too heavy either. Words just slip out of his mouth before he can even think about it.]

This is nice.

[Suddenly aware that he is sitting on something he shouldn't be sitting on, the puffball-turned-man jolted onto his feet. Unfortunately, he is still not used to the weight distribution and stumbles to the side, landing roughly on his rear.]

I--I apologize.

[Shirou chuckled a bit and moved to sit up.]

It's alright. I wasn't joking when I said it was nice.

[He looked around the area, realizing that he wasn't in his room, where he was supposed to be. In fact, he wasn't even in a building at all. It looked like he was in the middle of... something that came straight out of a video game. Weird.

He turns back to the unknown man in front of him.]

You don't happen to know where we are, do you?

[Meta Knight stares at him rather incredulously before shaking his head. Nice? These creatures sure had strange tastes.]

I'm afraid not.

[Shirou frowned and looked around again. He hadn't actually thought the man would know but it was worth a try. There were a bunch of other people to ask though, so he could ask them. With a little stretch of his arms, he stood up and offered his hand to the blue haired man.]

Want to ask around?

[Meta Knight takes his hand without question, struggling a little to stand up and stay on his feet. With some luck, he manages to stay standing, though his legs are a little wobbly. This is so weird.]

That would be the best course of action.

[The raven haired boy grinned and pointed to the direction he planned on heading to.]

Onwards!

[You may soon find yourself being approached by a black haired teenager and a man who seemed to be struggling with walking.]

Excuse me, do you know where this is?

[and the first person they run into is a certain blue Twin Blade with spiky hair. He was on his way through to the shop to see what he could purchase when the strange pair stopped him along the way]

Hm? This place as in the town or this place as in the world? [Sonic raises his hand to draw circles in the air, drawing a small one with his finger for 'town' then a larger circle with his whole hand]

Meta Knight speaks up before Shirou, unsure if the boy is a native who is just lost in a new city.]

As in this world.

[Meta Knight basically answered that question for the both of them, so there isn't much for Shirou to say.]

From what I've heard, they call this place 'The World'. [air quotes] Not very creative, if you asked me. They couldn't even come up with a name for the place, can you believe it?

[ shortie mcshort teen blinking at the two of you. he kind of noticed you guys, though he'll just be pretending like he hasn't been trying to figure out what the two of you are up to for the past few minutes. looking a little confused! ]

I... can't say. Which is strange, because I honestly can't remember how I got here.

[ he'll be glancing at the two of you. ] I take it that you ended up the same way?

[He caught that, but it's unimportant so he'll let it go.

I can't speak for him, but yes, I don't remember being transported here.

[Shirou shrugged in reply to the blond's question.]

Maybe someone kidnapped me when I was asleep.

[ kidnapped, huh... sob... ]

That's... not very comforting. Though I don't think I would be worth much for a ransom.

[ lies, ivan. ]

I doubt we're being held ransom if we're allowed to wander around in a city like this.

[You spot a familiar-looking man up ahead...]

[Shirou blinked. What was he doing here? Puzzling, but maybe that meant other people he knew were here, which was both a good and bad thing depending on the way you looked at it.]

You told me a lot of things.

[Meta Knight blinks. Is this young man an acquaintance? That might mean Kirby and the others are here as well... So he'll remain silent for now.]

"Unbeknownst to mankind, there are multiple worlds in existence besides this one."

And yet, I cannot feel "it" here, in The World...

[Oh, right, he did say something like that once. Which meant Shirou had some how flung himself into another world during his sleep. Yamato did praise him for his supposed extraordinary abilities, but he didn't think he could do that much. A flicker of amusement crosses his face before he turns his train of thought from his silly musings.]

Polaris? Then... he doesn't govern this world?

[inhearts]

[ With some food laid out on the bench near her, Minako's not too far away from the NPC that Shirou and Meta Knight have approached. When she hears that question posed, she turns her head towards the people asking, watching curiously.

When the NPC leaves, she waves, beckoning the two to join her if they wish to. ] Good afternoon!

[He can't help but feel disappointed by the lack of progress. Meta Knight notices the girl who reminds him of a hamster for some reason waving to them. Not really caring if Shirou followed him, he approaches her.]

Good afternoon.

[Shirou sighed. The person they talked to was barely helpful. The only thing he got out of that conversation was that this town was called Mac Anu, and they were in something called The World. Noticing his partner leave him and approach the girl sitting on a bench, he follows the older man, waving and chirping a reply to the girl.]

Afternoon.

[inhearts]

Are you two hungry? [ Indicates the fair bit of Irish food on the bench! ] There's plenty to go around!

[He looks over to Shirou to see what he wants. He could honestly go without eating for a while...

Except that his stomach gurgles a little.]

[ It's the first time someone spoke to him since his arrival; everyone seemed to be busy doing their own thing. Not that he minded, lost in his own problems, though some answers, any answers would be nice.

That said, he might not be too helpful here. All dressed up in his new attire, he's been aimlessly treading through Mac Anu, and the sudden question catches him off guard. He stares at the strangers warily, clutching his weapon perhaps a little bit too defensively. ]

I... no. I have no idea. [ He bites his lip. ] You mean you're also new to this place?

[galaxiapride]

[If he had a visible brow, it would be raised]

That's correct.

[So they weren't going to be getting any definitive answers out of this guy, huh? Oh well, that was fine.]

Do you know how you got here?

That means we're in this together, huh?

[ Now that does make him relax, but not entirely so, and the question doesn't help. The boy just shakes his head. ]

Not really. Well, there was no teleport or anything of the sort, I can tell that much. It just... happened.

Strange. The same happened to me. One moment I close my eyes, and the next, I'm here. [He's purposely excluding to mention that he was sitting on top of Shirou when he did open his eyes...]
